Windows Media Player Keeps Forgetting Music

THANKS February 18, 2011 Steve-o I was having this problem for videos in WMP12 on Win7. Of course you may have already duplicated some material so you'll need to consider this before deciding what to move around and what to delete. Your library will be updated and all songs that you had added to the library that we not located in your music folder (the one specified in the "Rip Music" tab) I didn't want to have to start using WinAmp! i cannot drag my music onto any WMP windows either. http://www.makeuseof.com/answers/windows-media-player-lose-music/ But cannot wait to get back to wmp11.

I AM FED UP OF HAVING TO ADD MY LIBRARY EVERY TIME. This prevents WMP from automatically updating files and moving them about which can confuse iTunes. it loads some mp3s but leaves out the rest! :( It cant seem to tranfer some songs from my p.c. after searching and rebooting i havent found why i could not save music but now wow just wow u saved me !!! I had wanted to remove the sample music from my computer, and I just deleted them right from the music folder.
