Another thing you can try is connecting the mouse to another USB port, whilst ensuring any other USB products are removed. Is it just 'csrutil enable'?
Also, does the computer even detect the wireless transciever or keyboard or mouse? I am running Windows XP Home edition in english, and office 2000 standard.
