My guess is that as long as you have another browser installed, you'd be completely fine to uninstall IE and leave it uninstalled. Chrome, which only launched in December 2008, recorded 10.93 percent usage share in February, up from 2.64 percent two years earlier. Succinctly put, IE 9 and 10 goes EOL (end-of-life) after next Tuesday for Win 7. Please try the request again. Not that the odds of a damaging your system is high if you do that.
Specifically, it would be good to be able to uninstall it completely and then reinstall it from scratch. You can open the Control Panel from the Start Menu. And hopefully, this process has resolved (or at least altered) whatever problem it was that caused you to want to reinstall Internet Explorer in the first place. Using the site is easy and fun.
