Disc Space Vanashing?
My 40GB of free space stopped disappearing in a day. I began hearing the clicking last year quite a bit, and I ran some diagnostics which didn't find anything. You can delete the contents of com.apple.iTunes but don't delete the folder. Let me tell you everything I've done so far to fix this problem. get redirected here

Press the power button while still holding the shift key. Background Crashplan app updates was what was causing this /.Mobilebackups.trash issue for me. Press the power button without pressing any keys. It's that simple. Scanning the computer with malwarebytes i got rid of 5 viruses. If you turn off TM that data gets moved to /.MobileBackups.trash where it is later deleted. A quick check of my available disk space using Finder reveals that I only have 200mb of free space left on my 115GB SDD. BOTH of these programs are saying I'm only using 55GB of my storage (=145GB free) which is not consistent with what Vista is telling me.My recycle bin is empty and I've I also turned off system restore and used windirstat. Now I only have 55GB free (again, no installs). Download and install a good firewall. So I tried the method you described in that other thread which seemed to work fine. Like I said, I create an image of my drive each night so I don't even really need system restore.
