It's an Acer Extensa 5620, Costco special, nothing special here. The causes can be multiple ones: a video adapter issue, some recent driver updates you may have done or new Windows updates. Now that all of Windows was gone, still no BIOS screen.We also had the other dead laptop after an update but that one was the famous DV6000.
