Desktop Blackscreens - HELP NEEDED!
I did try to alt-tab out of it myself and such and I can't seem to get any strange events happening like this. Create a New Task by clicking "File" and "New Task" (Run). If the problem re-occurs after downloading and installing updates, then probably one of the updates is corrupt. I got all frantic when I saw my laptop not work, but thanks to you it is!

I see the 'windows is loading' screen and it loads for about 5 seconds and then the screen goes black with my cursor in the middle. And when I push ctrl-alt-delete it doesn't turn on/off. The restore points come with a corresponding date they were created. once logged on run command prompt with administrative properties then type in 'sfc /scannow' this will hoefully find anything else which is currupt.
